What makes it special

This is the most famous Indian restaurant in the world. Nearly every US President has eaten here and so have the likes of Sting and Bruce Springsteen. They all came for the tandoori menu which has remained unchanged since 1978 and the rough and ready ambience: you sit on stools, get no cutlery, put on an apron and tear the meat apart with your hands. Apart from the meats Bukhara also serves India’s most famous dal: the much copied Dal Bukhara.
