It’s ambitious to open a bustling restaurant set over three levels that aims to combine adventurous cocktails with gourmet food at a relatively accessible price point The founders of Ru have pulled it off and offer different ambiences in different parts of their restaurant ranging from happy and loud to relaxed and quiet.
The menu was created by Chef Deependra Khosla of the Michelin stared Bangkok restaurant Haoma who went to college with one of Ru’s founders and the chef has invented dishes that offer clever twists on the classics. But even the local menu, which was created in-house, offers satisfying flavours.
Don’t miss the decor which includes huge rocks that were there when the restaurant was being built and which Ru has left untouched.
