One of the restaurant mainstays in Hyderabad for many years the restaurant was set up by Chalapathi Rao who spent 15 years with the ITC group where he found fame with the Dakshin restaurants.

He broke away to set up Simply South and quickly found success with his own style of elevated South Indian food. It is a measure of how much of an institution Rao is in Hyderabad that when MasterChef Telugu was launched he made frequent appearances on it Simply South is one of those dependable restaurants you can go back to again and again confident that you will have a good meal
