What makes it special

Shang Palace is a global brand owned by the Shangri-La group and many of its outposts around the world have won Michelin stars.The enormously successful Delhi branch at the Shangri-La hotel differs from other international Shang Palace locations by focusing more on Sichuan cuisine, while still offering a diverse selection from across China.

The menu features the famous duck from Beijing; skewered meats from the North; and the familiar Cantonese favourites. During the pandemic, the restaurant lost the expatriate Chinese chefs who originally set it up, but Indian chefs took up the challenge and hardly anyone could tell the difference because food standards have remained consistently high.
