What makes it special

Seefah is one of Mumbai’s great success stories. A young Thai chef and her Maharashtrian husband leave secure employment with the Four Seasons to open a small restaurant that serves the kind of authentic Thai food she could never make in a deluxe hotel. He serves his innovative modern Japanese food.

To everyone’s surprise the restaurant becomes a cult favourite and people travel north from South Mumbai because the food is so good. One of the dishes, Khao Man Gai becomes so popular that they open a mostly-delivery place for this Thai Chicken-Rice classic and within weeks they start selling over a thousand portions a day.
