Manish Mehrotra is one of the few chefs in the world who can claim to have invented an entire school of cooking. Because he started out cooking Oriental food, he approached Indian cuisine from a different perspective. Till then, modern Indian chefs had Frenchified their presentation. Mehrotra eschewed that style and created his own fresh and flavour-packed dishes that made Indian Accent one of the best Indian restaurants in the world.
