Rahul Gomes Pereira is called Picu by nearly everyone. He started out as a European chef at the Oberoi group before finding fame with his current employers, Passcode Hospitality, where he is the Executive Chef of the group. He cooked excellent European food at Passcode’s restaurants but his real success came with the hugely ambitious Jamun, which tries to authentically recreate dishes from every corner of India. After establishing the Delhi Jamun, Picu moved to Goa and opened another Jamun there which is better than its Delhi parent. He combines a strong Goan sensibility with a mastery of global cuisine.
